Hello there! I'm Anna. Well, that's not my real name but it's practically become that because noone except for my teachers calls me by my real name XD I'm 13 years old and I live in India with my mother and father. My brother used to live with us too but now he's gone off to college and visits us only during his vacation.
I'm a vegetarian and I love animals - but my mom doesn't let me keep a pet, unfortunately. I'm stubborn and extremely fussy. Sometimes I argue just for the sake of arguing and I hate admitting that I'm wrong. I also have a tendency to daydream and waste time.. alot of time. I like organising things but not to an obsessive level. Messes can be nice sometimes! I'm quite forgetful, clumsy and quiet. I don't like talking to people much and I guess they feel the same way about me seeing as I have only one friend at school. I'm a sort of nervous and fidgety person; I guess it goes along with the clumsiness. In a quiet place I will think over what I have to say atleast seven times before actually saying it out of fear of sounding odd or saying the wrong thing. That's probably because of fear of breaking the silence, anyways. I'm rather introverted and hardly ever go out to parties. I'd rather sit at home and sleep or listen to music. Perhaps that's why I get called "uptight". I'm quite particular about finishing my homework on time and getting good grades, though there are some days when I just feel like throwing away my books and saying "Fuck it". More often than not you'll find me doing my homework while listening to music - makes it less painful to do! I'm not a very considerate person; I don't quite like it when people come crying to me for sympathy over something that happened. I tend to be very grumpy and irritated too.
What else is there to say about me? My hobbies? Reading, writing and web design. I like mystery, humour and adventure stories - Agatha Christie and P.G. Wodehouse for example. I'm particular about spelling and grammer and hate bad spelling and "chat speak". My favourite subjects at school are Algebra, Physics and Hindi (the last being a language, more specifically the national language of India. Just incase you were wondering). I spend alot of my time listening to music too, and my favourite band is Yellowcard. I started listening to Yellowcard around October 2007. I don't watch much telivision - I'm more of a computer person. Though you will find me occassionally watching Friends, cricket (only if India is playing) and the news channels.
Some random things I like about life are rain, hailstorms, sleep, pasta, music, the daily comic strips in the newspaper, Milo (it's a chocolate powder you put in your milk to give it flavour, incase you're wondering), nighttime, the sea and the colour blue. I like it when it rains heavily, even though it does cause traffic jams and houses to be flooded. It's nice to watch as long as you're not getting wet. Where I live we've had a hailstorm twice (or maybe more - twice during my life, anyways). The first time was when I was a little too young to remember, but the second time was when I was 12 - I remember how fascinated I was! Sleeping is a sort of hobby of mine - I sleep alot on weekends. Around 12-15 hours. My mother says I oversleep but I beg to differ. I usually fall asleep while listening to music on my MP3 player. I listen to music for hours - Yellowcard, blink-182, Angels And Airwaves, Linkin Park, Awake And Dreaming, etc. When reading the newspaper I like to start by reading the comic strips and then proceeding to the sports and other sections. Childish, indeed, but what would we do without a little Garfield humour before rushing off to school? Sometimes I save newspaper clippings of comics I specially like. My favourite colour is blue and my room is blue too! I like eating pasta but it's not really my favourite food - I like anything Indian really (and vegetarian).
